Hello lovely readers and welcome to the November newsletter for author Danielle Hughes.

If you’re new around here, hi! I’m Danielle, indie-author, busy mum and lover of fantasy. If you stick around you can expect monthly updates from me regarding my books, new works and bookish events… And of course, tons of FREE books! Each month I participate in several fantasy and fairytale themed book promotions, giving you access to free downloads and kindle promotions.

Firstly, an update! Over the weekend I attended the Indie Bookworm event at Kryal Castle and it was fabulous. I got to meet so many wonderful readers and lovers of fantasy. It was such a wonderful day and the perfect location for a fantasy/royalty themed author signing.

This month I’m participating in several book promotions. There’s a few fantasy and fairytale themed ones, kindle promotions and a couple of children’s ones with my junior fiction story The Lost Unicorn. You can check them out right here, and don’t forget to forward onto to friends and family who may also enjoy: https://linktr.ee/fourmoonspublishing

Do you ever find yourself lying awake at a ridiculous hour in the middle of the night with your brain running one hundred miles an hour? This happened to me recently (as it often does) and I literally plotted out an entire story. But the weird thing was, it wasn’t a fantasy story, it was a cozy/sweet romance. Probably influenced by all the hallmark movies I start to binge around this time of year (guilty pleasure alert!). I honestly believe that when this happens our sub-conscious really needs to work through something. As there are no distractions at 3am, because everyone is asleep and it’s quiet, your brain picks this time to process. And I guess sometimes you just have to role with it and allow it to happen, even if you suffer for it the next day. What are your thoughts on this? I’d love to know.
Until next time, take care…
Love and Light
Danielle x

I tend to do a lot of mybest thinking of a creative kind in the wee hours myself. Since I have always been able to handle late nights and early mornings, I just do as youhave said…roll with it! Wonder if Walt Disney and Albert Einstein were more creative thinkers at night, too?
