Mystica Book 1 Playlist

Do you love music? I love it for so many reasons. There’s something special about listening to a song and having it transport you somewhere else, or conjure images in your mind, or just completely speak to your soul and make you feel like this song represents exactly something you’re going through. If I hear a song and it sparks an image or idea for a story, I have to save it. I love Spotify and use it daily. I have many playlists which I add songs to ranging from songs to boost creativity, or songs for specific book’s I’m working on, to uplifting songs for when I underwent treatment for Breast Cancer as well as playlists for my children. I find listening to a particular playlist before I sit down to write helps set the mood for what I’m working on, especially if I’m about to write a pivotal scene in the story, or if I’m struggling with motivation.

With the official release date for Mystica Book 1 fast approaching, (only 3 days to go!) I thought I would share my playlist which I listened to pretty much every time I sat down to write this book. You can listen to it here:

Don’t forget you can order your copy through my website or online retailers. If you prefer E-books, Mystica is available from your favourite provider! I can’t wait to officially share Mystica with the world!

I'm a mum of 4, married to the wonderful Derek. I love writing fantasy and supernatural stories for middle grade and young adult readers. I have self-published four books; The Lost Unicorn, and my Mystica trilogy for pre-teen and YA readers. Four Moons Publishing is my author and publisher sight. Please sign up to follow and keep up to date on new releases. I recently completed treatment for breast cancer which I published a blog for as a way staying in touch with family and friends about my journey, and also to possibly help share with anyone else going through something similar. I have found it quite cathartic to write about my experiences and am enjoying my first dabble into blogging :) If you would like to read more please search for Danielle's Breast Cancer Journey on WordPress or go to
