FREE FAB FANTASY in FEB!

Hello lovely readers

Sorry for being slightly AWOL over the past weeks. Its been a busy time with a family holiday, and the start to the new school year. My eldest started high school which has been a positive but emotional time.

I had an amazing response to my Beta/Arc call out last month. I am so grateful and a tad overwhelmed with the interest that has been shown. Emails have gone out to the wonderful people who offered to Beta read two of my WIP’s. While I eagerly await their feedback, I am continuing to work on more new stories. I very much hope to have ARCs ready to go out by the end of March.

How have you found the beginning of the new year so far? It’s always a crazy time when the Christmas break comes to an end, and life returns to the hustle and bustle of school/work/activities etc. Especially when you have kids! I always find it takes a good fortnight to feel like we’re back into the swing of routines and rushing around.

Currently I’m reading two books: Of Blood and Bone by Nora Roberts, and Fable by Adrienne Young. Of Blood and Bone is book 2 in an urban fantasy series called The One. While I found myself immersed in book 1 (Year One), I found the ending rushed and unsatisfying. I was reluctant to continue with book 2, but on the recommendation of a friend I gave it a go, and some of my misgivings with the ending of book 1 have been abated. For now. Watch this space for my thoughts on the rest of it. Fable is a pirate themed YA adventure which I’m really enjoying. Have you read either of these? What are you reading for February?

I have a new FREE book promotion running at the moment, plus an opportunity to WIN an amazon gift card by voting in the ebook fair. You can access both right here: https://linktr.ee/fourmoonspublishing

Until next time, love and light,

  1. That series by Nora Roberts totallllly freaked me out but it was good. I hope you read all her earlier works and her jd Robb Eve Dallas series. I’m more addicted to Eve Dallas series bc freaking Roark is soooooo freaking badass, hot and alllllll the adjectives. lol.
I’ve also read some of Adrienne’s works too, but not Fable. My all time fave series by Nora is the Three Sisters Island Series beginning with Dance upon the Air. In 2nd place would be Eve Dallas’s in death series. (There are now over 60 book in death! ) 3rd place is a tie between 7th sign trilogy, circle trilogy and The One series.

    1. Thanks Laura. Interestingly, reading through Nora’s list of works, I was drawn to the Three Sisters Island series so I will definitely add that to by TBR list! I found the end of Book 1 frustrating. It felt rushed and I didn’t like how it didn’t revisit the rest of the characters left at New Hope. I almost didn’t want to continue, but I’m glad I have so far with Book 2.

      1. I was more freaked out about her evil ex and Dance Upon the Air whizzed on by for me. I had to wait for the books to be published lol. It was around that time that I joined Nora’s newsletter and let her know that my mom and grandma read her books. Grandma passed in 00 & mom in 2020. So I sit and read or reread books and firmly believe they sit and read along too. In life my mom could not sing, so I hope it being heaven and all she can now. If not, she is so reading over my shoulder all the time lol.
