March Book News

Hello lovely readers!

Welcome to the March update for indie-author Danielle Hughes. Its so great to have you on board.

I’ve been a tad MIA the past few weeks, but very busy behind the scenes. There is a LOT happening this month and I’m super excited to fill you in. My biggest news is that I have a new book available for pre-order!

Spring Rain is the first book in my new sweet, cozy, romance novella series – all themed around the seasons! ‘Wait…I thought you wrote fantasy?’ I hear you ask. Yes, I absolutely do write and love fantasy, but my guilty pleasure, especially during Christmas time, is Hallmark movies. I can’t get enough of them. I have always wanted to write something in this genre and this year I decided to do it! So I present to you, the first book in my new series: Spring Rain ~ Meet April and Caleb, rival flower sellers at the market. While April is annoyed by Caleb’s mere presence and arrogantly charming personality, a joint business venture forces them to work together. Chaos ensues as April must learn to let down her guard and trust Caleb, along the way realising he may not be as bad as she thought. If you love a quick, light-hearted, sweet romance read, then be sure to check out Spring Rain. You can preorder now for just 99c: https://linktr.ee/fourmoonspublishing (Price to increase after launch)

With a 4 star average, you can check out the early reviews from my wonderful ARC team here: https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/228112809-spring-rain#CommunityReviews

I am in the final stages of getting ‘YesterKnights’ (my new middle grade fantasy-adventure) ready for publication, so keep an eye out for more info coming very soon. This leads into my next piece of news… The Clunes Booktown festival is coming up on the weekend of 22nd-23rd March. This is the absolute highlight bookish event of my year. If you live in Melbourne or surrounds, I strongly urge you to visit. It’s really like no other book event I’ve been too – the entire town of Clunes transforms into a book-filled wonderland with hundreds of authors and vendors selling books and bookish merch all weekend. And not only will I be signing and selling with some of my fellow writer friends, I will have limited advanced copies of YesterKnights available. So if you want to grab a copy before anyone else, be sure to come see me at Clunes. More info here: https://linktr.ee/fourmoonspublishing

And of course, to thank you all for being such wonderful supporters of my work, I have several free and KU book promotions that I can bring you. If you’re in the mood for a new FREE book, be sure to check out what’s available this month: https://linktr.ee/fourmoonspublishing

Until next time, love and light,

Danielle x

I'm a happily married mum to four kids. I love writing fantasy and supernatural stories for middle grade and young adult readers. I have self-published five books; The Lost Unicorn, The Princess and the Fawn, and my Mystica trilogy for pre-teen and YA readers. Four Moons Publishing is my author and publisher sight. Please sign up to follow and keep up to date on new releases. www.fourmoonspublishing.com I recently completed treatment for breast cancer which I published a blog for as a way staying in touch with family and friends about my journey, and also to possibly help share with anyone else going through something similar. I have found it quite cathartic to write about my experiences and am enjoying my first dabble into blogging :) If you would like to read more please search for Danielle's Breast Cancer Journey on WordPress or go to www.daniellebreastcancerjourney.wordpress.com

  1. I was supposed to be on the ARC team, but my download only consisted of the picture of the front cover. I have tried to re-load it, but keep getting the same result. It looks like I won’t be able to read it until I can actually order it, unless I can get the actual book from a different source.

  2. I wrote a review but on my phone.  Can’t add dates to Goodread site until I get home to my computer.  I’ve been in the air since 3pm yesterday.  Missed flight.
